My fear is that the world will never return to normal. Too many people have too much invested at this point to turn back. Most democratic nations will forever have some restrictions and will ramp them up at the slightest uptick. Parts of the US will become islands of freedom.

It was easy because most of the population spend their formative years in full-time obedience training, doing what teacher tells them. Little wonder that years later, they “follow the science” and do what politicians and technocrats tell them what to do.
