Spoke with Chinese depositors whose health code turned red after arriving in Zhengzhou for a planned protest. Many were taken from the train station straight into "quarantine." Blatant example of exploiting Covid surveillance for political/social control cnn.it/3NXaf50

Labor transfer strategy shift: In 2021, Xinjiang sent 400,000 cadres to monitor the income situations of 12 million rural households through an “early prevention, early intervention, early assistance” campaign. This identified 774,000 households for “real-time monitoring”.

I 👏the @Europarl_EN for adopting our #XinjiangPoliceFiles resolution! What a milestone! I’ve fought for this for years. MEPs finally confirm the serious risk of genocide in #Xinjiang. @WUiguren @UyghurCongress #China #UyghurGenocide #UyghurForcedLabour @UighurProject

Very intense debate on #forced-labour in #Xinjiang #China and good insights of the latest findings by @adrianzenz in the @Europarl_EN. We need a full function supply chain law to forbid imported goods produced by forced labour to the 🇪🇺.
