Beidaihe retreat is over. The Chinese leaders are going to provinces to find out the ground situation. While Li Keqiang headed south to Shenzhen, Xi went north to inspect rushbelt Liaoning. Note: he still wears a mask when indoor, but mask free outdoor.

Update: The employer of the alleged attacker of Ted Hui was notified by a Canada-based pro-democracy activist, and the employer has terminated his contract.
On the afternoon of August 7, Ted Hui, former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, was attacked by a Cantonese speaking Chinese man in a restaurant in Sydney. During the incident, the attacker also threatened the personal safety of Mr. Hui.
