Can’t believe it’ll still be closed when I leave in two years. So many lovely memories of time spent with colleagues & constituents, or alone appreciating the legacy of this space. Seismic work is needed, tho, & this brief disruption will result in a stronger, safer Capitol.
A beautiful space - scale, symetry, clean lines. If you worked late enough, there were times when you can stand alone in the rotunda. I've worked in three other state capitals, but this is my favorite.
